Lift Concepts - Maine Website Design and Development
How We Do Things

Build A Relationship

Building a relationship with our customers is a key part of our process.

We believe in honest, open and straightforward communication with our clients. Sharing ideas, suggesting technologies and identifying problems before they arise are key.

Identify the Project

We use flowcharts and wireframes to help our clients visualize the structure and layout of their website. This also provides an opportunity for clients to gather and organize photos, text and other content for their new website.

Determine the Audience

Web sites combine many aspects - graphic design, code, search engine optimization, user interface design and plenty more. Often, designers jump into a project without thinking about the most important feature- the user. If your audience consists of rural users with dial-up connections, you probably should limit the amount of graphics and video, or at least provide them with the option of not viewing the content.

Let's Get to Work

We've got the details of the site worked out, the structure ready, text content and graphics files gathered. Now it's time to put it all together.

During production time, weekly status reports are emailed to our clients outlining the progress made on the website, possible obstacles that may arise and additional materials that might be needed.

We do whatever it takes to get the project done right, on time, and most importantly, on budget.

Testing, Fixes and Revisions

While we test every piece of code when building a website, it is important to set aside plenty of time for testing. At this time we test with our clients (and sometimes their customers), gather feedback from various parties and fix issues that might have been overlooked. Modifications outside of what was promised or outlined on the flowcharts are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Website Launch

At this point the website has been fully tested, revisions have been made and everyone is happy. "But how do I use it?" Dont worry, we provide training for everything we produce and are always available to answer questions you may have about your new blog, website or online store.

Continued Follow Up

Lift Concepts constantly search for new and exciting ways to enhance our clients websites. Sometimes simply reorganizing the way in which your content is presented is enough to satisfy your visitors. Updating text content, photography, adding video clips, email newsletters and slideshows are other ways to keep things fresh and interesting for your audience. Ready to get started?
